What subjects do you tutor?

We specialize in K–12 math, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. Our tutors focus on building strong foundational skills that help students succeed long-term.

How does the first session work?

Your first session is completely free. It serves as an assessment to understand your student's strengths and challenges. Afterward, you'll receive a Student Assessment Report with a personalized plan for future lessons.

Do you offer online or in-person tutoring?

We offer both online and in-person tutoring. Most sessions are held online for convenience, but in-person sessions are available in the Mooresville and Troutman area.

How does scheduling work?

You can easily book sessions online through our Appointments page. New students should select the 'New Student Session' when booking their first appointment. After that, recurring sessions can be arranged directly with your assigned tutor.

What does tutoring cost?

Our pricing is straightforward: New Student Session is free. K–8 Math: $40 online / $45 in-person. High School Math (Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus): $50 online / $55 in-person. No contracts or hidden fees.

Do you help with EOG and EOC test prep?

Yes! We provide targeted EOG and EOC test preparation for North Carolina students, focusing on problem-solving, test strategies, and building confidence before exams.

My name is Hunter, and I am the founder and lead tutor at It All Adds Up Tutoring. I once struggled with math until an inspiring teacher completely changed how I approached the subject, and since then I have excelled in it. My mission is to give my students that same experience, reducing stress and building skills that will stick with them long after the session ends. Outside of tutoring I enjoy staying active at the gym and playing golf. I am no Tiger Woods but I enjoy getting out on the course when I can.

My name is Jess and I am a 29-year-old young professional living in the Charlotte area and working a hybrid role as a Department Coordinator for Ameriprise Financial. This schedule allows me the flexibility to continue my passion of tutoring students. I have over 5 years of experience tutoring in both online remote and in-person platforms. I am also experienced in 1:1 sessions and up-to groups of 3. I have tutored to students varying in ages 5-50 and have taught subjects like ESL, math and SAT/ACT Prep. I am currently saving up for a wedding in my free time while my fiancé finishes a phd in England. I have 3 sisters, I’m a twin and I have a golden doodle named Tito who is perfect.
